The NetPay Banking System is an electronic banking system that provides bank customers with Internet and direct dial based access to a wide array of banking services. The system provides numerous cost and market advantages to banks and other financial institutions. As compared to teller and ATM based transactions, NetPay significantly reduces transaction costs, provides enhanced functionality, and market differentiation while improving customer intimacy and convenience. The system allows bank customers to securely view and manage their accounts their accounts from the privacy and convenience of their home or business. The system supports all classes of deposit and credit accounts including savings, checking, credit card and loans. NetPay's enhanced ATM functionality provides customers with greater access to and control over their accounts. In addition to standard ATM balance inquiry and funds transfer capabilities, customers can access full detailed history of account transactions as well as search for specific transactions, initiate EFT and wire transfer payments and recharge their e-cash cards. When used in conjunction with the optional NetPay Wallet, consumers can locally store, search, sort, annotate and aggregate detailed account data over any period of time. The data stored in the wallet can be transferred to Quicken or Money. The system is based upon the OFX protocol and supports X.509v3 digital certificates for strong identification and authentication of the consumer and secure transmission of data over the Internet. Like all NetPay products, the system is open, extensible can be readily customized and branded for the target financial institution. The NetPay Wallet and the NetPay Call Center applications are smartcard enabled for enhanced functionality, convenience and security. The NetPay Banking Server supports hardware based cryptography and key management for enhanced security and performance. The NetPay Banking System can operate as a standalone system or in conjunction with NetPay Payment System and NetPay Billing System.
